Big Rock Steppers & Boulders

These pictures show Phase #1 of this bank landscape. The steppers are natural PA bluestone and weigh around 1,000 lbs each. The steppers were lifted in place by the 300 lb muscle-man that works for us. (yeah right! We used a mini-excavator with a chain sling) The next step will be installing plants & mulch. It may be next spring before that gets finished, but I will post some pictures when its done.

The Ding Dong Job

In a quaint little village, where at noon the sound of church bells wafts over the country side, we built some steps, a landing and a curving walkway to the front door.

I will miss hearing those bells....
